Diss Carnival 15th June 14

A well attended carnival saw many people interested in the wood turning demonstartion outside the craft marque. Seveal items were turned including a hollow form vase out of very wet Chestnut, a bud vase made from Boxwood a couple of light pulls and a box out of Yew. There were plenty of questons to the demonstrators and some intertest in membership, which was encourageing.

Although only half the items in the tombola were won, there was plenty of interest in the work on display. If you didn't cough up a pound on entering the marque it cost two pound on the way out.
